തൃശ്ശൂർ : മണ്ണുത്തി കൊഴുക്കുള്ളിയിൽ പൊലീസിന് നേരെ ഗുണ്ടാ ആക്രമണം. ആക്രമണത്തിൽ ഒല്ലൂർ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ എസ്ഐ വരുണിന് കൈക്ക് കുത്തേറ്റു. കൈപ്പത്തിക്ക് ഉള്ളിലാണ് കുത്തേറ്റത്.സംഭവത്തിൽ വിഷ്ണുജിത്ത്, ജിഷ്ണു എന്നിവർ പിടിയിലായി.
മൂർക്കിനിക്കര കൊലപാതക കേസ് ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി ക്രിമിനൽ കേസുകളിൽ പ്രതികളാണ് ഇവർ. വിഷ്ണുജിത്തിനെ പിടികൂടാൻ എത്തിയതായിരുന്നു പോലീസ് സംഘം. കഴിഞ്ഞവർഷം നെല്ലങ്കരയിൽ മണ്ണുത്തി പോലീസിന് നേരെ ആക്രമണം നടത്തിയ സംഘത്തിലും ഇവർ ഉണ്ട്. വിഷ്ണു ജിത്തിനെതിരെ മണ്ണുത്തി സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ കാപ്പ ചുമത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്
A sub-inspector (SI) of the Ollur police station, Varun, was stabbed during a gang attack at Kozhukkully in Mannuthy, Thrissur. The officer sustained injuries to his palm while attempting to apprehend the criminals. Police have arrested two suspects, Vishnujith and Jishnu, in connection with the incident. The injured officer has been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, and an investigation is underway.
