കോഴിക്കോട്: പതിനാറുകാരിയെ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കിയ സംഭവത്തിൽ മാവൂർ പനങ്ങോട് സ്വദേശിയായ 24-കാരനെ പന്തീരാങ്കാവ് പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. മാവൂർ പനങ്ങോട് സ്വദേശിയായ അഭിജിത്താണ് പിടിയിലായത്. ഇൻസ്റ്റഗ്രാം വഴിയാണ് ഇയാൾ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ പരിചയപ്പെട്ടത്. സൗഹൃദം സ്ഥാപിച്ച ശേഷം പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ ഇയാൾ അവിടെവെച്ച് ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമം നടത്തുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് പരാതി.
സംഭവത്തിൽ പെൺകുട്ടി നൽകിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് പന്തീരാങ്കാവ് പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്ത് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ഇതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് മാവൂരിലെ പനങ്ങോടുള്ള വീട്ടിലെത്തിയാണ് പോലീസ് പ്രതിയെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തത്. അറസ്റ്റ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശേഷം കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരാക്കിയ പ്രതിയെ റിമാൻഡ് ചെയ്തു.
