ഭുവനേശ്വര്: ഒഡീഷയില് ട്രെയ്ലര് വാഹനം പൊലീസ് ജീപ്പിലിടിച്ച് അഞ്ച് പൊലീസുകാര്ക്ക് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. മൂന്ന് പൊലീസുകാര്ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റു.ജര്സുഗുദ സദര് പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷന് സമീപം ഇന്ന് രാവിലെയാണ് വാഹനാപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്. അമിത വേഗതയില് എത്തിയ ട്രെയ്ലര് വാഹനം പൊലീസ് ജീപ്പിലേക്ക് ഇടിച്ചുകയറുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തില് പൊലീസ് ജീപ്പ് മുഴുവനായും തകര്ന്നു.
എട്ട് പൊലീസുകാരാണ് അപകടസമയത്ത് ജീപ്പില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. കാശിറാം ബോയി, ദേബദത്ത സാ, നിരഞ്ജന് കുജുര്, ഹവില്ദാര് ലിംഗരാജ് ദുരുവ, ഭക്തബന്ധു മിര്ദ്ധ എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. പരിക്കേറ്റ മൂന്ന് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും ആംഡ് പൊലീസ് റിസര്വില് നിന്നുള്ളവരാണ്. ഇവരുടെ പരിക്ക് ഗുരുതരമാണ്.
സംഭവത്തില് ട്രക്ക് ഡ്രൈവറെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. എന്താണ് അപകടകാരണം എന്നതടക്കമുള്ള സംഭവങ്ങള് പരിശോധിച്ചുവരികയാണ്. അപകടത്തില് മരിച്ച പൊലീസുകാര്ക്ക് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളില് നിന്നുള്ളവര് ആദരാഞ്ജലി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.
Five police personnel were killed and three others critically injured in a horrific road accident in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district on Sunday morning.
