മലപ്പുറം: മലപ്പുറം തേഞ്ഞിപ്പാലത്ത് ഒരു കിലോ എംഡിഎംഎ പിടികൂടി കേസില് പ്രതികള് അറസ്റ്റില്. പൈങ്ങോട്ടൂര് സ്വദേശി പെരിഞ്ചേരിക്കര അസീസിന്റെ വീട്ടില് നിന്നാണ് എംഡിഎംഎ പിടികൂടിയത്. ഭാര്യയും ഭര്ത്താവും കൂട്ടാളിയും ഉള്പ്പെടെയാണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായത്. അസീസ്, ഭാര്യ ഖമറുന്നിസ, കൂട്ടാളി സലാഹുദ്ദീന് എന്നിവരാണ് പിടിയിലായത്. അസീസിന്റെ മകന് മുഹമ്മദ് ജാസിര് ഒളിവിലാണ്. 21 ലക്ഷം രൂപയും ഇവരില് നിന്ന് പിടികൂടി.
Malappuram district saw a major drug bust at Tenhipalam, where police seized 1 kg of MDMA along with ₹21 Lakhs in cash. The narcotics were recovered from the residence of Azeez in Paingottoor, Perincherikkara. Following the raid, the police arrested Azeez, his wife Khamarunnisa, and their accomplice Salahuddin. The investigation revealed that Azeez’s son, Muhammad Jasir, who is suspected of being involved in the racket, is currently at large. The seizure is part of an intensified crackdown on synthetic drugs in the region.
