കൊല്ലത്ത് അനിയൻ ചേട്ടനെ തലക്കടിച്ചു കൊന്നു; ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല

കൊല്ലം: കൊല്ലം ഇരവിപുരത്ത് അനുജൻ ജ്യേഷ്ഠനെ തലക്കടിച്ചുകൊന്നു. മാനസിക പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് ചികിത്സയിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന കെനിൽ എന്നയാളാണ് ജ്യേഷ്ഠനായ അനിലിനെ തലക്കടിച്ച് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ഇന്ന് വൈകിട്ട് നാല് മണിയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം നടന്നത്.

ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ അനിലിനെ ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരണം സംഭവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സംഭവത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ, പ്രതിയായ കെനിലിനെ പോലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു.

കൊലപാതകത്തിന് പിന്നിൽ മാനസികാസ്വാസ്ഥ്യമാണെന്ന് പ്രാഥമിക അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഇരുസഹോദരങ്ങളും മാനസിക പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് ചികിത്സയിൽ കഴിയുന്നവരാണെന്നും പോലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പോലീസ് വിശദമായ അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

A tragic incident occurred in Eravipuram, Kollam, where a younger brother allegedly beat his elder brother to death following a family dispute. The deceased has been identified as Anil (45). His younger brother, Kenil, reportedly struck him on the head with a lethal object during an argument around 4:00 PM on Thursday. Though Anil was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. Police sources indicate that both brothers had been undergoing treatment for mental health issues. Kenil has been taken into custody by the Eravipuram Police.
