London: England beat Croatia by one goal in Group D of the Euro Cup. Raheem Sterling gave England the lead in the 57th minute of the second half.

Throughout the first half at home, the England line-up continued to test the Croatian defense. Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount all filled the field with excellent advances. The Croatian defense was often seen faltering in their advance.
England was attacked from the start. In the sixth minute, Phil Foden’s shot accidentally hit the post. Shortly afterwards, Sterling’s advance was blocked by a car. Meanwhile, Calvin Phillips also tested Croatian goalkeeper Dominic Livakovic.
Foden on the right wing and Sterling on the left were constantly attacking the Croatian box. England were the pressing game in the first 25 minutes of the first half. Croatia made no significant progress in the first half.
