തിരുവനന്തപുരം: തിരുവനന്തപുരം മണക്കാട്ട് പട്ടാപ്പകൽ വയോധികയെ ആക്രമിച്ച് പത്ത് ലക്ഷം രൂപ വിലവരുന്ന സ്വർണ്ണം മോഷ്ടിച്ച സംഘം പിടിയിൽ. രണ്ട് സ്ത്രീകളും രണ്ട് പുരുഷന്മാരുമാണ് പിടിയിലായത്. ഷീബ, റീന, രാജൻ, ശരത് എന്നിവരാണ് പ്രതികൾ. തമിഴ്നാട് കുഴിത്തുറയിൽ നിന്നാണ് പ്രതികളെ പിടികൂടിയത്.
നഗരസഭാ ജീവനക്കാരെന്ന വ്യാജേനയാണ് പ്രതികൾ വയോധികയുടെ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തുന്നത്. തുടർന്ന് വയോധികയെ ആക്രമിച്ച് കടന്നു കളയുകയായിരുന്നു. സിസിടിവി കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് പ്രതികൾ പിടിയിലാകുന്നത്.
The police have arrested a four-member gang in connection with a daylight robbery in Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram, where an elderly woman was attacked and gold ornaments worth ₹10 lakh were stolen. The arrested individuals, identified as Sheeba, Reena, Rajan, and Sarath, were apprehended from Kuzhithurai, Tamil Nadu. The gang, comprising two men and two women, had reportedly gone into hiding after the daring robbery before being tracked down by the investigation team.
